Privacy Policy

This instance of Federdeck is a personal study app running on the AT Protocol. We only collect the data needed to operate the app.

Data We Store

• Your AT Protocol identifier (DID) for login and ownership checks.
• Your decks, items, and study responses, stored locally for performance and on AT Protocol for sharing.
• Local analytics counters: daily/total visitors and daily/total signed-in users. Visitors are tracked via an anonymous visitor_id stored in your session cookie.
• “Go Pro” interest form submissions: what you’d like Pro to include, and optional email and budget (if you provide them).
• Research access token requests: a short description of your research request, plus optional email/volume/endpoints. If you request a token, we store the issued token so it can be validated/revoked.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

These cookies are used for authentication/session state (including the anonymous visitor_id used for local analytics). You may also see a cookie_consent cookie for the consent banner.

Logs

Like most web servers, we may temporarily process basic request metadata (e.g., IP address, user agent, request path) for security and debugging.

Data control

If you want your locally-stored data removed from this instance, contact the operator. Records written to AT Protocol live on your PDS and follow AT Protocol’s deletion/replication model.
